Lets get social
GGR social events provide an excellent opportunity for members to get together, share car stories, and meet old and new friends. From casual get-togethers to award banquets, there’s something for every Porsche lover to enjoy.
Our monthly Cars and Coffee gatherings attract a lively group of car enthusiasts, photographers, entrepreneurs, and often feature one of our partner businesses to give our members an exclusive peek at the vehicle collections and operations.
Periodically we also hold New Member Mixers. If you’re a new member keep an eye on your inbox for these invitations, we’re looking forward to welcoming you to the club!
Once a year GGR holds an official Concours event which is a part of the PCA Zone 7 Concours Series. This event allows the owners to showcase their cars and hone their maintenance and preservation skills.
The Porsche Brunch is held at historic Alice’s Restaurant at the intersection of Hwy 35 & 84 in Woodside and is open to all members.
Our social season concludes with the GGR Annual Awards Banquet. The banquet is held at various locations throughout the Bay Area in mid December or early January. Past locations have included the USS Hornet, Canepa’s, and the Blackhawk Museum. The banquet provides an opportunity to present the Autocross and Time Trial awards, as well as recognize individuals who have made significant contributions to the Club throughout the year.
We are always adding new fun events, such as workshops, photoshoots, art projects, and even hiking and cycling days. Look out for ad hoc event announcements in your inbox and at @pcaggr IG, and reach out to us if you have a new event idea in mind - we will do our best to make it happen!
