Carving the best roads in the world
Motoring events typically entail fascinating, organized drives in the extended Bay Area where fun, challenging, and twisty roads abound. These events are usually capped at around 40 cars and are organized into groups of ten to accommodate your preferred driving style as best we can (spirited to touring). We typically meet between
7:30-8:00 a.m. Saturdays for coffee at the start point, for a safety briefing, confirm & sign insurance waivers, and hit the road no later than 8:30 a.m. We usually end at a casual dining or picnic spot for lunch and social engagement, and then find your own way home independently afterward. This event attracts a lively, enthusiastic crowd of drivers, families (passengers are free), and Porsche aficionados from early air cooled to recent GTs. These are people who enjoy being out on the back roads, enjoying the drives and sharing stories of each other’s Porsches.
Due to high participation demand, Fun Run event details are announced via PCA email to GGR members only. To attend, please sign up early! Golden Gate Members should verify their current email address is on file at PCA. Go to our “Club Contacts” page and send an email to the membership director.
