Board of Directors Meeting Minutes
June 6, 2021
Present: Gilbert Bouzeid, John Celona, Canyon Chan, Kate Efremova, Chris Hamilton, Ed Hunter, Jim McClelland, Himanshu Patel, Michael Sherman, Howard Yao.
Call to Order:
The meeting was called to order at 3:04 pm.

DE/CR #2 at Buttonwillow was a fun event with great weather.
Fun Run at Mt. Hamilton was well attended with positive feedback from participants.
AX event at Cow Palace, started off with a damp course in the morning, but things dried up in the afternoon.
The Zone 7 Concours Judging School took place this morning at Porsche Redwood City with approximately 25 participants.
No new business.
Insurance for all upcoming events in place.
A motion to approve Howard’s Board Meeting Minutes from May 2nd was carried without dissent.
Club finances have been improving. Canyon issued the May financial report summary, which was approved unanimously.
As of the time of this meeting, PCA GGR has 3,521 members total. Last month we gained 61 members and 103 renewals. A motion to approve all new members was carried unanimously.
Kate is planning a Happy Hour in San Carlos. Floral shop in Woodside is offering an arrangement course for up to 10 PCA members.
70 attendees at the last autocross, of which 7 were first time drivers. Lead-Follow instruction has been successful.
The June 13th Zone 7 event has been moved to June 26th.
Working with Hooked on Driving to schedule an autocross at Sonoma Raceway on August 14-15.
Himanshu will take an inventory of new helmets needed and provide to Mike Sherman.
59 attendees at the previous fun run. Two members got flat tires during the drive, but all got back safely. Gilbert has developed new tour guidelines to enhance safety. Next fun run is scheduled for end of July.
Exclusive is offering a Friday run session on July 2nd at Sonoma. Jim to provide registration details to those interested.
Jim moved for approval of cash advance for Sonoma expenses, it was approved unanimously.
The calendar plug-in is slowing down the site, so Chris will test a Google calendar link to try and resolve that issue. Test version of the website will be released soon.

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 4:37 pm. The next Board Meeting is scheduled for Sunday, July 11 at 3:00 pm at Porsche Redwood City.
