Valentine Day Fun Run

On February 8th we did the Valentine’s Day Fun Run.  We had 39 cars, with 12 new (to GGR Fun Runs) drivers!

Leaving from Mill Valley, we drove north on Hwy 1 through Stinson Beach and Marshall, then took the Tomales Petaluma Road over through Petaluma, ending up in the historic Sonoma Plaza where we enjoyed the sunshine, lunch and socializing.

These event wouldn’t happen without the amazing volunteers, so I want to thank the following people for their assistance with the route, maps, check-in/grid and Lead/Sweep duties:  John Ellis, Kurt Kruger, Soah Hsu, Omar Portigliatti, John Grauel, Krish K, Subby Ghosh and a special shout out to Ash Donikian of Track Attack fame!  If you have an iPhone and haven’t tried Track Attack, it’s an amazing app that is so much more efficient than Google Maps, and does so much more with video, track maps, etc.  If you use Android, stay tuned for upgrades.

Our next Fun Run with be the St. Paddy’s Day Run on March 15th.  We’re working on the route, but plan to end up in Santa Cruz.  If yoiu’re interested in volunteering, please reach out to me.

Never Stop Driving!

Respectfully submitted,

Cheryl
