Dear GGR Members,

This will be a short one this month. The track car is in the shop, new tires, alignment, corner balance, installing a passenger seat – the usual. Can’t wait for our first GGR track event on March 22-23rd at Thunderhill Raceway! It’s a great venue and we have a group of amazing instructors ready to teach the newbies out there. So if you’ve ever wanted to experience the track, hesitate no further, it’s so educational and fun.

As far as lodging is concerned for our track weekends, I’m trying something new this season. My tow vehicle will also be my hotel room. Check out my new roof tent!

Hopefully this roof tent will pay for itself within a year or so. I’ll be able to sleep in later too, I can wake up at 7:45 for our 8:00 driver’s meeting! I won’t even need an alarm clock either because the moment a flat-six with a free flowing exhaust fires up in the morning – that will be my alarm.

The Board has done a great job putting on a bunch of fun events throughout the year, so come out and get involved!
