It was great catching up with many of you at GGR’s annual Concours at Porsche Redwood City, thanks to all that attended and made that event a success. Many great Porsche’s were on display and lots of fun conversation to be had.
Since I was there at the event, Captain Mike, the event organizer, enlisted me to help hand out the trophies, which was a lot of fun despite my tripping over some tough last names. I was also able to award Captain Mike the Olan Creech Award in order to recognize his contributions to the club (Organizing the Concours and GGR Membership Director for 15 years) and to hand Charlie (Owner of Porsche Redwood City) the check for the benefitting charity of the event.
If that all sounds like some fun, consider joining PCA for their annual Concours in Monterey next week on Friday August 18: Werks Reunion: https://www.motorsportreg.com/events/werks-reunion-monterey-2023-pines-golf-club-pca-654895
There are a lot of other cool events during “Car Week” you can check out the schedule here:
Over 750 Porsches are registered for this event!
Another thing that’s just around the corner and nearly as exciting.. GGR Elections!
