The Porsche community is revving up despite the rainy weather, with plenty of exciting activities already underway! Who says a little rain should stop us? We should all take a cue from John Ellis’s email signature: “Never stop driving.”
While I’m here putting together this newsletter, I just had to share a snapshot from my drive yesterday (4/14) through Livermore with a couple of our GGR friends, Diana and Bert. Membership Event Recap
Our first 2024 membership event was held at AutoVino on March 23rd. We were thrilled to see over 100 enthusiastic people join us! The day was a blast, filled with fun and camaraderie. Everyone loved Lori Schutz’s talk on the book “The Driving Force” and learning how Ashod’s TrackAttack app can enhance our driving experience. Diana did an awesome job hosting the trivia session, which was entertaining and challenging at the same time. It was great to see the competitive spirit of our Porsche members shining through.

Membership Renewal Reminder:
At the recent Board of Directors call on March 4, 2024, the board of directors voted to increase the Annual Membership dues from $46.00/Year to $56.00/Year.
Friendly reminder – renew your membership before May 1st to take advantage of the current lower rate. Starting May 1, 2024, the annual membership dues will increase from $46.00 to $56.00. The new rates will be as follows:
$56.00 for a one-year membership
$110.00 for a two-year membership
$162.00 for a three-year membership
Please note that all eligible renewals received before May have 1, 2024, will be processed at the current lower rate. Memberships with an expiration date of April 30, 2024, or before will pay the current lower rate if renewed on time. Late renewals on or after May 1, 2024, will be charged the new rate.
Memberships with an expiration date between May 1, 2024, and June 30, 2024, are eligible to renew early in April. If renewed before May 1, they will receive the lower 2023 rate. There will be no exceptions. Renewal dates include all eligible renewals received by mail, phone, and online before May 1, 2024.
