Call to Order at 6:05PM

President:

  • Elections committee – need to begin the process for ppl who will not run for re-election

Autocross Director (sent in updte)

  • Autocross Event Updates:
    • July 9 Autocross #6 Salinas Airport 46 drivers 
    • Five laps in the morning, five in the afternoon
  • GGR Autocross #7 – Zone 7 event: August 26 (Saturday) at Salinas Airport.
  • GGR Autocross #8 – verbal agreement with HOD: September 30 (Saturday) at Sonoma Raceway Paddock.
    • $2500 rental fee
    • Rennsport weekend
  • Cow Palace might be an option in the future

Track Director:

  • DE4 Thunderhill – strong turnout, 19 time trial participants in 45 minutes
  • DE5/CR4 5-6 August, Sonoma – 80 students, 50ish club racers, garage sales/rentals are strong, Gorilla Tornado photographer on Sunday and will buy out all photos/RWC will sponsor, ½ order of T-shirts
  • DE6 16-17 September Laguna, 8/9 Registration to open, expecting it to go well, parade laps on Sat, C&C or new member event? Fun drive from Hollister? 
  • Dealer Representative is needed

Motoring Director

  • 15 July Carmel Drive and Social event
  • Joint event between PCA GGR, PCA Redwood and PCA Diablo
  • 46 entries total, of which 24 members from Golden Gate Region – That’s 52%! Per agreement, 52% of the “profit” will be granted to PCA GGR. The analysis and payment should be completed this week.
  • This event Indicated a demand from PCA GGR members for TSD Rally type of event – Jim (Rally master from PCA Redwood) is willing to help out as much as possible on this front:
  • Organize three or four of such events
  • Upcoming 
  • 26 August Sonoma Drive and Social Event, 40 car limit
  • Sept – Women Event
  • Mid Oct Mammoth Lakes Event
    • Date Set by PCA Sierra to 10/13-15
    • Checking for another volunteer to lead the PCA GGR Caravan to Mammoth Lakes as I will be in Palm Springs then
    • Halloween drive event

Social Director:

  • July Event in Los Gatos, 90 cars 
  • 26 August at European AutoTech, San Ramon, 70 cars

Nugget Editor:
