Porsche Redwood City Grand Opening

Saturday, March 30th marked the Grand Re-opening of longtime GGR Platinum Sponsor and club supporter Carlsen Porsche as Porsche Redwood City. Owner Charlie Burton and Porsche Cars North America CEO Klaus Zellmer were on hand to kick off the festivities along with a Bavarian band, sumptuous food featuring dim sum and Bavarian fare, and bottomless wine and beer.

GGR members were lucky enough to have first crack at this invitation-only, RSVP-required event and were treated to a special thank-you gift of a model 911. Display cars abounded, including the newest of Stuttgart’s offerings and vintage models going all the way back to the 356 and a 904 Carrera GTS. A special mint-condition 914 celebrated 50 years since the model’s introduction.
